Late Again

Once again, I manage to be late on my posting.  Since the last time we talked, I've opened up an Etsy shop!  You can see it here.  I've made some new artworks, so I might put those up, but I think I'll just open up a Flikr account.  I've also done some work on my game/s.  It's going weird.  I don't really know how it all will end up, but I'll try to keep the nobodies who read this posted.

We're still here!

Hody-doo?  Haven't posted in a while, been working on a NEW game.  You see, Sir Steampunk wasn't that creative, and it seems all the more lame since Damnation is coming out.
My NEW game, can only be described as REVOLUTIONARY.  Seriously, that's all I can describe it as.  It's so REVOLUTIONARY that if I let anyone know about it, they'd copy my idea and make a fortune out of it, because it's so REVOLUTIONARY.   When I do get it finished, I'll send it over to a big name in the game industry, can't tell you which one because the game is so REVOLUTIONARY!!!!  Just wait.

On another note, Jhonen Vasquez responded to me on Twitter!  Unfortunately, I couldn't understand a lick of it.

Phase

I've finally decided to write about an actual gnar thing that isn't by me.  It's this game for iPod, called Phase.  It's made by Harmonix, who made Guitar Hero 1, 2, and Guitar Hero: Encore: Rocks the 80's.  They also made Rock Band after they split from RedOctane, and a bunch of other games which you can read about in Wikipedia.  Anyways, the game looks like Guitar Hero or Rock Band, but plays music from your iTunes library.  You use the center, forward, and backward buttons to activate the notes.  At least once per song, there'll be these blue "sweeps" which you hit by turning the clickwheel in the shape that is coming down the road thingy.
It's way better than Tap-Tap Revenge, since Phase has a unique art style that has these cool little doodle things that show up on the side of the road, unlike the boring black background of Tap-Tap.  And Tap-Tap can't use your music- TAKE THAT iPHONE USERS!!!!! >:D
Just buy it and support this awesome type of game.

Snow Monster

Finally, we got a real snowday.  This year, we've had days off, but not an actual layer of snow.  So today, I decided I should make a bizarre snow monster.  I've always wanted too, but never really gotten around to it.  You may now admire it and think, "Cap'n Walrus is the gnarrest being throughout multiple universes*."

* Is it really universes?  Univi?  Universees?  Whatever.  Tell me in the comments, which you never post on!!!!!

WHY!!!

Damnation!?!  Oh god, why do they always come out with things similar to the things I'm working on!?!  WHY!?!  I assure all of you, that I haven't heard of this until today.  Look at it, one of the characters is wearing a metal half-bra!!!  That wouldn't happen in a victorian era!!!
Thankfully, this game looks miserable.  This makes my game all the more gnar.  Seriously, a metal half-bra?  How many female game characters are actually not made to turn on guys?

Note:  For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, Damnation is a new crappy video game.  If you want to know more, just Google it.

Whats Been on the Goings On

Howdy-doo!  I've been working on my game, and I've almost finished Sir Steampunk.  This is really going to take a long time, seeing as I haven't even finished 1 character.
I started on a comic the other day.  It's called "Cap'n Walrus' Educomics Presents: Hobos."  This won't take too long, but it won't be done in a couple of seconds or anything.  I'll probably put it here and give it away at a couple of local areas.
Last week, I made a drawing called "Lemon Zombie."  I wanted it to have a sort of parchment feel, so I soaked it in coffee last night.  It came out well, and today I colored it with watercolor.  That was a BAD idea.  Now it looks like some horrible stain.  I might redo it some time, and color it with markers, but not soon (I'm sick of that guy.)
On another note, I have about ten more shots to do for "Vorb".  Most of them are really simple, and won't take but a few minutes.  There is one that features an angry mob, so that will take a bit longer, but by next Monday, I think I'll have the shooting done.
   End transmission.

DSi

The other day I was talking about how the Nintendo DSi is coming to the States on April 5th.  My friend said that it's a piece of junk, seeing as the camera is worse than that of any cell phone, and according to him, the music player sucks too.  I pointed out that it has web surfing and you can buy games of the interwebs for it.  He dubbed it as "more things to spend money on."
I was thinking about that today after I read an article about netbooks in Wired.  I realized that you could almost use the DSi as a netbook using its web browser.  You could even import pictures from a camera better than the DSi's using it's SD card slot.  Those could even be edited in the photo-doodling app thing in it.
I also realized that its gonna be great for homebrew games with the SD card slot.  In the past you had to buy a special cartridge that could have SD card's put into it, and it was almost impossible to find since it was illegal. (I think.)  Now I can possibly put Sir Steampunk on my DSi, YAY!!!
Sooo, what was the purpose of this again?
